The Brittanie N Burdette Legacy
The Foundation of Access

While working as a Transitional Coordinator with the State of Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, Brittanie witnessed many motivated individuals accepted into college but unable to enroll due to limited financial resources and a lack of support.
This mission is deeply personal. After being accepted to Assumption College, Brittanie initially could not attend because she lacked sufficient funding. Through persistence and determination, she ultimately earned a BA in History, an MA in Rehabilitation Counseling, and her CRC. This achievement reinforced her belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed.

Access, not ability, often determines opportunity.
Brittanie's journey highlights the critical need for financial equity in education.
The Brittanie N. Burdette Scholarship Foundation was created to expand access to higher education for deserving students who face significant financial barriers. We believe that a student's potential should never be limited by their economic circumstances.
The foundation was created to be that support system. Our vision is to provide deserving individuals with access to higher education so they can grow, strengthen their communities, and positively impact the world.
